Welcome to
THE PROJECT
Established in 2017, The Project is a welcoming and inclusive studio located in the heart of Woonona, led by Principal Miss Ebony.
The Project was created as a space where every student feels seen, and supported. We pride ourselves on fostering a positive and healthy learning environment where dancers are encouraged to grow not only in skill, but in confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
What matters to our students and families matters to us.

SMALL CAPPED CLASSES
What does it mean?
At The Project by Ebony Austin, we intentionally keep our class sizes small. This allows our teachers to give each student the attention, guidance, and support they need to learn safely and confidently.
Small classes mean your child is not “lost in the crowd.” Teachers are able to focus on correct technique, individual learning styles, and personal development, while also building strong relationships with each student. This approach supports better learning and appropriate management that allows students to feel secure, confident, and empowered to participate fully, especially for young dancers or those new to dance.

SAFE DANCE PRACTICE
What does it mean?
Safe dance practice means teaching dance in a way that supports the physical, emotional, and developmental wellbeing of every student.
At The Project, we folllow guidelines set by Safe Dance Australia NSW Department of Education, this includes age-appropriate movement, proper warm-ups and cool-downs, safe progression of skills, and an emphasis on correct technique to help reduce the risk of injury. We also prioritise a positive and respectful environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged.
Safe dance practice allows students to enjoy dance, build strength and confidence, and develop a lifelong love of movement.
